Sports: Randonee skiing and Bike Racer

James’ obsession with endurance sports started early in his life and is currently manifested in his skiing and riding lifestyle. Racing skis is a new pursuit for James but he pursues it vigorously hoping to someday make the USSMA Worlds team. He has a level 1 AIARE certification and pursues backcountry days when the snow is good.

Cycling is his passion and a recent epiphany has led him back to the dirt. Looking towards the future James hopes to race as many endurance mountain bike events as his busy wrenching schedule will allow. Look for him at the Cascade Creampuff and Round and Round where he will be racing with his team. He races Single-speed Mountain and Cat. 3 Cross.

James’ favorite rides are in Snoqualmie, WA, Durango, CO, and Westfir, OR. He loves to ski powder, and any of the western states fit the bill, but his all time favorite runs are in the Little Cottonwood Canyon backcountry. James lives and works in Seattle, WA.
