Give Back: Mount Yale Restoration With Osprey Colorado Fourteeners Initiative

The Colorado Fourteeners Initiative (CFI) is organizing a last minute restoration project on Mount Yale this weekend and are in search of volunteers!

Here’s the gist:

It’s a 3-day project (Friday to Sunday). We will meet at 2pm on Friday, July 15 and hike in to CFI’s basecamp (includes cooking tent, water purification, solar powered bear fence for food storage, groover for latrine facility and a few other convenient items). Restoration work will take place all day Saturday and half the day on Sunday. We will then hike out Sunday afternoon.

All you need to bring is a tent and sleeping gear, appropriate clothing and work gloves, your personal toiletry items, food and a smile.

Please contact brian@14ers.org for details and to register.

Why volunteer? Well, first of all, you get to do your part to protect and restore our mountains… not to mention spending an entire weekend in a gorgeous place. And you get to hang out with a great group of folks. And if you need more incentive: all volunteers will receive a 50% off retail gift card from Osprey, and one lucky person will receive a free Viper or Verve 10 hydration pack.

Do your part to protect our mountains! Sign up today!
