    Western Colorado Congress.

They are approximately one year older than me, so I can’t say that I started the group. I think some pretty cool cats did though, because they fight to ensure that extractive industries don’t destroy the areas that we cherish.

As a former DNC employee, I think it is pretty sweet that the president of WCC, Gretchen Nicholoff, is active in the Democratic Party in Delta County. I always applaud individuals with influence in advocacy groups who get involved in partisan politics.

Also, how awesome is Marv Ballantyne’s hat? Combine that with his mad banjo skills, I think this Board of Directors is pretty awesome.

The Western Colorado congress. One of the issues they have taken up is to prevent oil shale being used until the technology for extracting the oil shale is proven to work, both economically and environmentally.

Hope I win this, it would be an awesome birthday present!
